I want to personally thank you for taking the time to learn more about acupuncture and Chinese medicine. This website is dedicated to helping you deepen your knowledge of acupuncture and Chinese medicine, to finding a board-licensed acupuncturist in your area, and to giving you the credible answers you deserve: through clinical case studies, modern research, and China’s rich history of empirical studies.

As a teenage skeptic who one rolled her eyes at an acupuncture Yellow Pages ad  (circa 1986) and later became a licensed acupuncturist, I can relate to any hesitation you might encounter when it comes to seeking alternative care. Keeping in mind that acupuncture is considered pretty mainstream in terms of world population, exploring medical care off the conventional path can seem daunting.

My hope is to show you, through friendly, expert articles, that Chinese medicine isn’t just acupuncture, but a whole system of health care that truly allows you to experience the first-hand the wonders of homeostasis – with just a gentle nudge or two.

So check out the Basics to get answers questions like, Does it hurt? How many sessions will I need? Will my insurance pay for this? and more. If you’ve got questions, so did thousands of others just like you. If it’s not answered here, drop me a note.

Why search Acupuncture Buzz for an acupuncturist? Two words: Safety and Skill. The practitioners you will find in the Acupuncture Buzz Practitioner Directory meet the highest standards of safety and training. Each practitioner is state board-licensed, certified as a licensed health care professional legally able to practice acupuncture in the United States, and holds a four-year Masters degree in Chinese medicine, at minimum. Many practitioners hold Doctorate degrees, and everyone receives post-graduate training throughout their professional practice.

Explore the directory to find a qualified practitioner near you.

We all know someone who is struggling with a health condition. Please share this site, and spread the word on our Facebook page so that Acupuncture Buzz can open even more doors to health and wellness.

In health,
